Ideal Compressor Performance and Efficiency
The S430 compressed air flowmeter can be used straight at the compressor outlet because it is made to work with wet air. Other flowmeters installed in this manner are prone to malfunction because they cannot tolerate the hot and humid air. Because of its ability to endure these circumstances, the S430 is the ideal instrument for compressor efficiency tests and compressed air audits.

Different Output Signals
The S430 Pitot Tube Flowmeter is ideal for integration into high-level monitoring systems or process controls. There are several output choices available for a smooth integration:

  • Isolated 4… 20 mA output for actual flow readings
  • Isolated Pulse output for totalizer
  • Modbus/RTU to read all values digitally
  • Modbus/TCP for connections to high level systems
  • M-Bus for metering networks

Adaptable and Simple to Install
It is possible to install the S430 Insertion Type Flowmeter in tubes with diameters ranging from 1″ to 10″ by center installation, and larger diameters by non-center installation. The S430 is ideal for installations where shutdowns are unacceptable since it may be put under pressure because it is inserted through a 3/4 ball valve.

The IP65 housing that the S430 has offers strong protection in demanding industrial settings. 316L stainless steel is used to make every component that comes into touch with the measurement medium. Longevity and a trustworthy measurement are therefore ensured.
