NOVUS TxIsoLoop-1 and TxIsoLoop-2 offer single and dual loop galvanic isolation, making your application simpler and preventing unwanted ground loops. An identical isolated signal is replicated at the output once the 0/4-20 mA input is detected. There is no requirement for an external power source or auxiliary power because power is obtained from the 0(4)-20 mA input loop.
The TxIsoLoop galvanic isolator, which removes ground loops and works on up to two isolated channels, is advised for electrical grids where electric potential differences pose a significant risk. This ensures accuracy and signal safety.
The isolation eliminates the need for a separate power source by utilizing the TxIsoLoop from NOVUS. The output current is actively produced by the energy gained from the electric current flowing through the isolator input. With a response time of just 2 ms, this accessory is essential for industrial settings like petrochemicals or the manufacturing of sugar and alcohol.
By electrically separating the input signal from the output, loop isolators offer signal protection.
