Conductivity Controller JUMO AQUIS touch S
Measurement
Whether it’s to display and process the pH value, redox voltage, electrolytic conductivity, high-purity water resistance, temperature, disinfection-related measurands (such as free chlorine, total chlorine, chlorine dioxide, ozone, hydrogen peroxide, and peracetic acid), or the flow volume, the JUMO AQUIS touch S Conductivity Controller provides a central platform to do so. For flow measurement, pulse frequency inputs (counters) are available. Using standard signals (4 to 20 mA or 0 to 10 V), universal inputs can be used to measure nearly any analogue measurand. Up to 19 parameters can be measured and managed at the same time by the unit.
Control
In addition to several simple alarm/limit-value/time-controlled switching capabilities, the JUMO AQUIS touch S allows for the simultaneous definition of up to four high-quality control loops.
In these applications, tried-and-true JUMO control algorithms are employed for P, PI, PD, and PID control.
Display
The display of all parameters, as well as the operation and setup of the device, is handled by a 5.5″ colour touch screen. The operation philosophy of simple text almost eliminates the necessity for a manual. The device’s operating language can be chosen from a list of 15 languages that were pre-installed at the factory. The PC setup programme can expand the language library to up to 30 languages. Languages that employ Chinese and Cyrillic characters can also be displayed. As a result, the device is poised for widespread adoption.
Recording
For data recording, a paperless recorder is included. It is possible to register up to eight analogue measurands and six binary signals. On the screen, their chronological order is shown. Data storage is impenetrable to tampering and complies with official record-keeping regulations. The data can be extracted using the JUMO PCC software or a USB flash drive, and then analysed using the JUMO PCA3000 PC evaluation programme.
