In air conditioning and ventilation technologies, the testo 521-3 differential pressure measuring equipment is developed for high-precision differential pressure measurements. It may be used for clean room measurements and flue inspections, for example, because to its high level of precision and resolution. The inbuilt pressure sensor monitors flow velocities of +1 to +20 m/s when used with a Pitot tube (optional).
The temperature-compensated differential pressure sensor embedded in the device provides measurements with an accuracy of up to 0.5 Pa. You can also connect up to two additional optional probes to the measuring equipment. As a result, you can customise the differential pressure measuring equipment to your specific application with ease. The following probes are available to you:
- Differential pressure probes
- Absolute pressure probes
- Relative pressure probes
- Temperature probes (e.g. surface probes or immersion and penetration probes)
The practical features of the testo 521-3 differential pressure measuring instrument
Using a Pitot tube and the integrated differential pressure sensor, the testo 521-3 measurement equipment can calculate flow velocity and volume flow (which can be ordered separately). Timed and multi-point mean calculations are also available with the differential pressure measuring equipment.
The optional ComSoft software allows you to record measurement data and examine it on a PC by linking it to the measuring site. The optional testo rapid printer can be used to print measurement data right at the measuring location. .
For pressure measurement, you can use the following units: mbar, hPa, bar, Pa, kPa, inH2O, mmH2O, torr, and psi. At the touch of a button, the mean value, the most recent measured value, and the min./max. values may all be seen.
